Other theatre includes The Baby and Fly Pie (Royal Exchange), The Ministry of Fear (Theatre Alibi/Northcott), Spies (Theatre Alibi/Oxford Playhouse), Why The Whales Came (West End), Edward II (National Theatre Studio), Hansel & Gretel (Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds) and Just So! (Polka Theatre). Benjamin has toured extensively including playing the title role in Entertaining Mr Sloane, Paolo in Caught, Mick in The Caretaker, The Prince in The Double Inconstancy and Tony in Abigail's Party.

Screen work includes the BBC drama series Down To Earth, Jigsaw (a two-hander with the late Susannah York), Mystery (CiTV), You Never Called (iVisualize), Fractions of Hell (Dark Matter) and recently took the lead in Frank directed by Merv Lewis.

Originally from Devon, Benjamin trained at East 15 Acting School.
